The wonderfull Music of Merlin!

I was swept up in all the 50th-annerversary-Doctor-Who-special-Matt-Smith-Leaving-in-christmas-Silence-will-fall stuff, and I realised that I hadn't been watching Merlin in ages.

I knew every single episode back to front, and could write down the script if I tried. But going through episodes in your head is not the same as watching the show on TV.

I decided to start from the very beginning, Episode 1, Series 1: The Dragon's Call!

As soon as I started watching, I noticed how well the Music fits the scenes, how it makes it feel so much more real, more magical, more dramatic, more emotional, more amazing, more Merlin!

Here are some pieces of music from the Merlin soundtrack for you all to listen to and enjoy!

Merlin's Arrival at Camelot

Meeting Arthur/Lady Helen Possessed

Finale (Series 2 episode 2 soundtrack from Arthur and Gwen's kiss)

Treachery

 Merlin Buries Lancelot

Fighting in The Market Place

The Music is Incredible! The next time you watch an episode of Merlin, hear each individual instrument as they play, as they come together to make such a rich texture, feel the beats of the drums!

Really listen to the music, and Watch Merlin in a completely new way!
